Purchase Terms for Buyers

This is one of the MyVisito legal documents. See all documents

This page explains, in plain language, what happens when you buy an event ticket, a product, a course or a service offered through MyVisito, and what your rights are as a buyer.

MyVisito is a technology platform: we display the event or product page and connect it to payment services. The transaction itself is directly between you and the seller or event organizer named on the page, not with MyVisito.

Who you are buying from

The seller or event organizer named on the page is the party you are transacting with. They alone are responsible for the product or event: its description and accuracy, quality, the event taking place, delivery, support, cancellations, and refunds.

MyVisito is not the seller and is not a party to the transaction. On paid events, the responsible seller’s details (legal name and registration number) are shown at checkout and on your order confirmation as required by law, so you always know who you are dealing with.

How payment travels: the four ways

Through MyVisito’s payments rail. On many sales, especially events in Israel, we collect the payment for you securely via Stripe, as the seller’s limited collection agent. Your card statement shows the platform name beside the seller’s. For event tickets, the money is held by us and reaches the organizer only after the event has ended, plus a complaints window. You can send a cancellation request from your personal order page; on an approval event, a declined registration is refunded automatically and in full; and an in-policy refund request the seller does not answer within 7 days is resolved automatically in your favor.

Through the seller’s own Stripe account. Some sellers collect directly into their own payment account. Stripe verifies their identity when the account is opened. The money goes straight to the seller, so on this rail we cannot issue or force a refund; the seller is the address for any payment request, and we help mediate when needed.

Through the organizer’s own payment provider (PayPal or Cardcom), for events in Israel only. You pay on the provider’s secure page, into the organizer’s own merchant account, and your ticket is issued automatically the moment the provider confirms the payment. The money never passes through MyVisito.

Through the organizer’s personal payment link or a bank transfer, for events in Israel only. Some organizers collect via their own link (for example Bit, PayBox or a personal payment page). In that case the entire payment happens outside MyVisito, directly with the organizer. After paying you report "I paid", and only the organizer’s confirmation completes the registration. MyVisito cannot see or verify such payments, so pay this way only to organizers you trust, and prefer events that collect through MyVisito when in doubt.

Currency: when you pay in your local currency, the amount may include the payment provider’s conversion fee. A refund returns exactly what you paid.

Buying products, courses and services (the shop)

Shop payments currently run only through Stripe: either through MyVisito’s payments rail or through the seller’s own verified Stripe account. There are no external payment links in the shop.

Cancellation rights depend on the product type and are always shown on the product page before you pay: a meeting or a dated service can be cancelled up to 72 hours before its time; a physical product can be returned within 14 days; a course with a future start date can be cancelled until it opens; and instant digital content is supplied immediately by agreement with no statutory cancellation right, unless the seller grants a money-back window of their own. A seller can always improve on these rights, never reduce them.

What an event ticket is

A ticket bought through the service is a personal license to attend, granted by the event’s organizer. Entry can be conditioned on rules the organizer stated in advance, such as an age restriction, and on approval events your registration waits for the organizer’s confirmation.

Not attending is not a cancellation and does not by itself entitle you to a refund. If a service fee is added on top of the ticket price, it appears as its own line before you pay, and the total shown at checkout is the total you are charged.

What MyVisito checks, and what it cannot

Everyone who collects money through MyVisito’s payment rails goes through identity verification by Stripe, the payment provider, as part of opening their payments account.

Every event organizer who collects money, on any collection rail, must first record the responsible seller’s details with us (legal name, registration number, address, country and date of birth), be over 18, verify a phone number, and affirmatively accept our seller terms.

A business event selling tickets through MyVisito’s payments rail is reviewed against our prohibited-content rules before it can go live. All other public content (digital cards, products and events) is screened automatically, and every flag is reviewed by a person. Where fraud is suspected, we may temporarily lock an account and require government-ID verification through Stripe.

And honestly, what we cannot do: a payment made outside MyVisito (a personal link, a bank transfer, or the organizer’s own payment provider) is invisible to us and we cannot verify it. Our checks are a safety screen against prohibited content, never an endorsement, a quality approval, or a guarantee of any seller, product or event.

Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations follow the policy the organizer or seller published, and your statutory consumer rights always stand beside it and cannot be waived. You can send a cancellation request from your personal order page.

If the organizer cancels the event, you are entitled to a full refund of everything you paid, the service fee included. On MyVisito’s payments rail: a declined registration request is refunded automatically and in full, and an in-policy refund request that goes unanswered for 7 days is resolved automatically in your favor.

The full details are in our refund policy.

How to reach us when something goes wrong

First step: contact the seller or organizer. Every purchase has a message thread on its order page, and all your purchases are gathered in your personal area at myvisito.com/app/my, where you can write to the seller directly.

No answer, or you suspect fraud? Open a request to the MyVisito team from your personal area (the "Contact support" button), or email us at support@myvisito.com. You will receive a ticket number, and we will do our best to mediate and move things toward a resolution.

An event or product that looks fake or misleading can be reported straight from its page, and we review every report. For card payments you can also turn to your card issuer.

Updates and communications

When you register for or buy a ticket to a business event, you join the organizer’s updates list (news about this and their future events) and MyVisito’s events updates list. The registration form says so before you send it.

Every such message carries a one-click unsubscribe, your choice is kept, and registering for a private event (like a wedding or a birthday) never adds you to any mailing list.
