Commerce Rules: Selling with Payments through MyVisito
September 4, 2026
This is one of the MyVisito legal documents. See all documents
The rules on this page apply to every sale whose payment is collected through the MyVisito payment rail ("payments through MyVisito"). They bind both the sellers who enable this rail and the buyers who purchase through it, and they form an integral part of the Terms of Service.
When sellers collect payment through their own processing (their own Stripe account, an Israeli gateway, PayPal or any other connection), the transaction is made directly with them under their own terms, and the rules on this page do not apply.
Transparency: the service is operated by EmodeFlow, LLC, a US company (Delaware, USA), and payment processing is performed via Stripe, an independent global payment provider.
How payment through MyVisito works
- The payment is collected by MyVisito acting as a limited payment collection agent for the seller. The checkout page and the card statement show MyVisito's name together with the seller's name.
- The product itself, its content, quality and delivery are the sole responsibility of the seller. MyVisito is not a party to the sale itself.
- Proceeds are transferred to the seller in an automatic weekly transfer (every Monday), after a safety period set by the cancellation policy of the product (14 days when no policy was chosen, 3 days on a product with no money-back promise, or the chosen money-back window). For products with a known delivery date (a scheduled meeting, an event), proceeds release only after the session took place, plus a 3-day complaint window. There is currently no transfer minimum: any available balance goes out on the next transfer (MyVisito may set a reasonable minimum with advance notice on this page). New sellers: until the first transfer plus 30 days, a digital product or course sale is held until 7 days after the buyer first opened the content (and never less than the cancellation policy of the product), or 14 days from the purchase when the buyer never opened it; the first transfer is reviewed by us before release. A buyer report from the order page that a digital product or course was not delivered (the link does not work, the file is missing) holds the proceeds of that sale until the seller answers: marks it delivered or refunds; a report left unanswered for 7 days is refunded automatically, even on a product sold with no money-back promise.
- Issuing a lawful tax invoice or receipt is the seller's obligation. All taxes on sales, including VAT and income reporting, are the seller's alone: MyVisito does not calculate, collect or remit taxes on the seller's sales.
- Activity on this rail is exempt from an Israeli payment-services license under the Regulation of Payment Services and Payment Initiation (License Exemption) Regulations, 5784-2024 (low activity volume exemption), and is therefore not supervised by the Israel Securities Authority.
Cancellations and refunds: at the seller's discretion, with legal floors
Refunds on sales paid through MyVisito are at the seller's discretion, except for the rights the law grants buyers, which the system enforces automatically: canceling a meeting or an event up to 72 hours before the session, canceling a course with a future start date until it opens, and returning a physical product within 14 days. An instantly delivered digital product (a file, an instant-access course, a membership) is not cancellable: by paying, the buyer agrees to immediate delivery and waives the withdrawal right, as is standard in digital stores.
How it works: a problem or request is sent to the seller from the personal order page (the link in the purchase email). When a legal cancellation right applies, the request is flagged in the system and the seller must approve or deny within 7 days; an in-right request left unanswered is approved automatically and the money is returned, with no cancellation fee. In every other case the decision is the seller's, who may refund as a goodwill gesture in one click. Unresolved with the seller? support@myvisito.com
Payment and cancellation terms per product type
- Digital product (downloadable files): instant delivery, no cancellation right. A refund only at the seller's discretion (for example a corrupt file or one materially different from the description).
- Instant-access digital course: no cancellation right. Refunds at the seller's discretion only.
- A course with a future start date: free cancellation until the course opens, enforced automatically. From the start moment it is treated as an instant-access course.
- Membership (club, community, ongoing content): renewal can be canceled at any time, effective from the next charge. The paid period is not refunded except at the seller's discretion.
- Meeting, consultation or pre-booked service: free cancellation until 72 hours before the scheduled time (enforced automatically). Closer to the session, or a no-show: at the seller's discretion.
- Event or event ticket: free cancellation until 72 hours before the event. If the organizer cancels the event: a full refund, automatically. If the event changes materially (a new date or venue): buyers who cannot attend are entitled to a refund on request within a reasonable time after the notice. An event that took place as scheduled counts as delivered, and a no-show is not a refund ground unless the organizer's policy says otherwise.
- Physical product: a 14-day return right by law, subject to returning the product to the seller in its original condition.
- Listing (real estate) and other no-payment offers: inquiry-only offers. No payment is collected through them, no transaction is formed through MyVisito, and the payment rules on this page do not apply to them.
The seller's obligations
- Be at least 18 years old. Selling and collecting payments on any lane, direct collection included, requires being 18 or older, and use of MyVisito itself is open from 16 under the Terms of Service, the card only until 18.
- Deliver the product or service as described, when described.
- Describe the product accurately and without misleading claims, including price, contents and limitations.
- Issue a lawful tax invoice or receipt for every sale.
- Answer cancellation requests within a legal right within 7 days.
- Bear full responsibility for buyer claims about the product, including refunds, chargebacks and legal claims. MyVisito may offset such amounts from the seller's held or future proceeds.
- MyVisito monitors for suspicious activity. On reasonable suspicion of fraud, a prohibited product, or a breach of these rules, it may freeze accounts and funds, delay transfers, request documents, and end the service, with or without prior notice.
Prohibited products and content
The following may not be sold through MyVisito payments, in line also with the restrictions of our payment providers. Selling any of these triggers immediate account freeze and funds retention per the Terms of Service:
- Gambling, lotteries and sports betting of any kind.
- Adult content and escort services.
- Weapons, ammunition and their components.
- Drugs, cannabis and controlled substances, and paraphernalia intended for their use.
- Pharmaceuticals, regulated supplements and prescription services.
- Tobacco, e-cigarettes and smoking products.
- Counterfeit goods or products infringing intellectual property, including selling recorded music, DJ sets or mixes containing other artists’ works, movies, software, or copied courses and books without ownership or a full license. Uploading a file for sale is a declaration that you own the rights to its content or hold a full license; a false declaration carries full liability and indemnification under the Terms, including offset from held funds.
- Regulated financial services, investments, cryptocurrencies and lending.
- Hate content, incitement or content encouraging violence.
- Collecting donations, charity, or crowdfunding through MyVisito payments, for any cause, person, or organization. Selling a real product or service remains allowed even when part of the proceeds is donated.
- Selling academic work for submission, lists of personal data or leads, game accounts, or in-game virtual currencies.
- And any product or service that is illegal in the seller's or the buyer's country, or that appears on the prohibited or restricted business lists of Stripe or the relevant payment provider.
Who is responsible for what
- MyVisito (EmodeFlow, LLC): the platform operator. On the payments-through-MyVisito rail it collects the payment for the seller, handles refunds per the rules on this page, transfers proceeds on the published schedule, and monitors for fraud.
- Stripe: the payment provider, an independent third party. Responsible for secure card processing and the banking rails. Decisions and timing of Stripe and the banks are its responsibility.
- The seller: the seller of record. Responsible for the product, its content, legality, delivery, accurate description, the tax invoice, and answering cancellation requests within 7 days.
- The buyer: responsible for providing accurate details, lawful use of the product and its license, and knowing the per-type cancellation rules before purchasing.
Changes to these rules
A material update to these rules takes effect for existing sellers with advance notice. Continuing to use the MyVisito payment rail after the update date constitutes acceptance of the updated rules.
