Selling in Israel: billing providers, PayPal, Bit and payment links

The complete Israeli path: Cardcom or UPay with automatic confirmation, PayPal, Grow and Bit links, direct coordination. No platform fee.

Stripe does not yet operate in Israel, so Israeli sellers get a complete path of their own. Every method here is free of platform fees: MyVisito charges nothing on these sales, and you pay only your own provider's fees.

Automatic Israeli billing: Cardcom or UPay

The recommended way: buyers pay by card on a secure hosted page, the order is confirmed automatically after full verification with the billing company, and delivery goes out immediately.

Connect on the integrations screen, under Payments:

  • Cardcom: you need a terminal number, an API name and an API password from your Cardcom account. The connect dialog links straight to where you get them. You can also enable Cardcom's automatic tax invoice-receipt per transaction.
  • UPay: you need the account email and an API key from your UPay dashboard.

In both, the connection is tested against the provider before saving, so you know immediately that everything works. Credentials are stored encrypted.

  • Currencies: Cardcom processes ILS, USD, EUR and GBP. UPay processes ILS and USD.

PayPal

Works in Israel and is great for buyers abroad. Connect with your PayPal business account's API credentials, and confirmation is automatic like the billing providers.

My own payment link (Grow, Bit, PayBox)

No billing account? Paste a payment link from any Israeli service on the product: Grow, Bit for business, PayBox or any other link. The buyer leaves details, an order is recorded as Awaiting your confirmation, they pay on your link, and you confirm on the Orders screen to release delivery.

Direct payment coordination

Cash, personal Bit, bank transfer or phone: write how to pay in the note, and the order waits for your confirmation.

Do not forget the invoice

Under Israeli law, every payment received requires a receipt or a tax invoice-receipt. You can issue manually in any system you like, or connect automatic issuing: Invoices and receipts in Israel.
