Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 15, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how MyVisito, operated by EmodeFlow, LLC, uses cookies and similar technologies such as local storage across myvisito.com, the MyVisito application, and published cards. We keep them to a minimum and do not use advertising cookies for MyVisito advertising.
A card owner may configure Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel on their published card for their own measurement. Those tools are optional, are identified separately below, and do not load until the visitor allows card-owner tracking.
Cookies are small files a site saves on your device. Some are essential for the service to work, and others remember your preferences or help us measure usage so we can improve.
Cookies and storage we use
These are the cookies and local storage entries we use, and why:
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |

| sb-myvisito-auth-token | Strictly necessary | Keeps you signed in to your account | Session |
| mv-cookie-consent | Strictly necessary | Remembers your cookie choice so we do not ask again | Up to 1 year |
| NEXT_LOCALE | Preferences | Remembers your chosen language | Up to 1 year |
| myvisito-theme | Preferences | Remembers light or dark mode | Saved on your device |
| Cookieless usage analytics | Analytics | Anonymous usage measurement by our hosting provider, loaded only if you accept | No cookie stored |
| Google Tag Manager | Analytics | Loads MyVisito measurement tags only if you allow MyVisito analytics | Set by Google |
| Google Analytics (card owner) | Card-owner analytics | Measures visits for the card owner only if they configured it and you allow card-owner tracking | Set by Google according to its service settings |
| Facebook Pixel (card owner) | Card-owner marketing measurement | Measures visits for the card owner only if they configured it and you allow card-owner tracking | Set by Meta according to its service settings |
| Stripe | Strictly necessary | Secure checkout and billing on Stripe pages | Set by Stripe |
Published cards and card owners
MyVisito provides the card and the consent controls. A card owner who configures their own Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel determines why that tool is used on their card and is responsible for giving any additional privacy information required for their audience. MyVisito never enables those owner tools when you choose essential storage only.
Managing your choices
The first time you visit, a banner lets you accept all, keep essential storage only, or choose separately between MyVisito analytics and card-owner tracking. Optional tools load only after the relevant permission.
You can reopen Cookie preferences from the website footer, application, or public card and change your choice at any time. The new choice applies to future measurement on that device.
You can also control cookies through your browser settings, including deleting existing cookies. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be turned off, because the service cannot run without them, for example to keep you signed in.
